Curriculum
- Curriculum Design:
- It is designed to meet the standards of the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide 2017″. /span>
- We adopt thematic learning, a project approach, storytelling approach and a free play approach to develop children’s interests in explorative self-learning.We hope to cultivate in them a habit of reading, foster a balanced development in the domains of ethics, intellect, physique, social skills, aesthetics and spirituality, and develop their multiple intelligences. We focus on developing children’s self-expression skills and communication skills, enhancing their listening, speaking, reading, writing and calculation ability so as to ensure a smooth transition from K3 to primary school.
- We develop children’s potentials in different areas:
- Language development: Biliterate and trilingual education enhances children’s listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- Intellectual and cognitive development: Nurture children’s concentration skills, memory skills, creativity, imagination skills and judgment skills
- Skill development: Strengthen children’s physical health, promote their body coordination skills, self-care skills and problem-solving kills
- Social development: Teach children to share with others, how to communicate and get along well with others, and respect others
- Emotional development: Teach children to express their emotions and feelings appropriately
- Moral development: Develop positive values and characters in children
- Learning Modes:
- Centred around children’s interests to motivate children to be active learners
- Learn through play, allowing children to keep exploring and accumulate experiences
- Activity approach as the basis, with group learning and “active” and “quiet” activities
- Spiral learning approach with learning content introduced with increasing levels of difficulty to help consolidate children’s knowledge.
- Teaching Philosophy of Religious Education Curriculum:
We tell bible stories and teach children bible verses to encourage children to develop Christ-like attributes. A children’s worship service is held every month to plant the roots of Christ in children’s hearts, teaching children to be thankful for everything, to pray to God and trust in God.
